Lensmaster Traveller27 - Heidi Brault

I signed up for Squidoo in November 2010, and I published my first lens about a month later. With so many photographs of my trips to Italy available to me, it was easy for me to choose what I should start writing about - I love Italy and have spent time in several regions of Italy. After creating a few "Italy travel" lenses, I was faced with a quest to create a music lens, and that was the start of a new niche. I have since developed two other niches, one on travel in Spain, and one on European geography quizzes. I may be creating other travel lenses on France and Germany. My latest niches include lenses featuring gifts for travelers as well as gifts for special occasions.

I am thrilled that six of my lenses have been awarded Purple Stars, the first one being for Spotlight on Rome, Italy, the second being for Discover Toledo, Spain, the third for Whtie Villages of Andalusia, Spain, the fourth one being for Xmas Songs from the Emerald Isle, the fourth for Venice: Italy's Canal City, and the most recent for Spotlight on Bergamo, Italy. I thoroughly enjoyed "paying it forward" by suggesting other lensmasters' lenses for consideration for the Purple Star award. I became a Giant Squid (Monster Squid Level 50) on December 27, 2011 - something which I had been aiming for since I started on Squidoo.

I became a Squid Angel on October 29, 2011 - I very much enjoy the Squidoo community!

My first music lens was a tribute to Engelbert Humperdinck, which was created to complete a quest. I discovered that I loved creating them and later built several more music lenses.
