I hope my lenses will blend together two of my favourite things: words and pictures.

I really love words and pictures so reading,writing and taking photographs are among my favourite pass times and I have been known to use a paint brush and not just to decorate a wall. My camera goes with me even on a day out so it is never gathering dust in a drawer. My words were gathering dust but no longer as now I write here and elsewhere.

So here I am putting together my writing and photos to make lenses which I hope people will enjoy. That is me in the profile picture. being silly, I thought the big glasses might make me look knowledgeable.

Who am I? My main and most important roles in life have been as a wife and mother. Before I was either of those I was once an art student. I've done a couple of courses on creative writing.I am told by readers of my short stories that I can also spin a good yarn.

I love growing things so I have a vegetable plot and flower garden. Growing my own fruit and vegetables provides inspiration for my cooking as you have to eat what is in season when you grow your own, I told I am a good cook.

The rest of my interests will no doubt be in my lenses eventually and thank you for reading this and my lenses.
