I started writing back in college years ago when I was working on my social welfare and women's studies degree. Lots of social work research during those years and no computer access, so had to learn to write very quickly if I was going to provide research on the various areas of social welfare. After a 20 year career in the world of Social Work, I decided to move out of the city into the rural community and live a slow paced lifestyle. I took up such hobbies as collecting vintage collectibles.
Of course my interest was generally in collecting women's "herstory" pieces of cherished memories left behind by women in rural America. Later I expanded to selling and collecting vintage media like used books, back issue magazines, ephemera, records and media collectibles.
Today I run two online websites which I feel have been very successful and a passion and love for my hobby as well as providing a full time income to a small rural household in the Midwest.

So that is the bulk of what I do online that has since turned from hobby collecting to full time selling to teaching and promoting other online websites.
I have been in business almost three years online and hope to continue to sell online on my own websites as well as network with others who sell online.
