About Me

Hi my name is Dawn I am an artist who works mostly in acrylics. My favorite subjects are horses and dogs but I will paint almost anything you put in front of me.

This is a second career for me, when I first got out of school I needed a job and was lucky to find one in the picture framing industry. I did that for over 25 years and loved every day of it.

My art was put on the back burner but I always knew that some day I would get serious about it.
A few years ago a friend said come on lets paint and well I never looked back. The time was right, I am now doing what I was meant to do. I also work in stained glass, I love photography and making mixed media tiles. If you get a chance please take a look at my web site www.barkingdogstudio.biz
