Artist Statement: One of my favorite quotes is by Joseph Campbell, 'Follow your bliss...'. That is exactly what painting/making art is for me, Bliss. Art has the power to effect people both in a positive way and in a negative way. The fact that we feel these emotions is what makes it art. I intend to follow my bliss and continue painting, learning and teaching what I know and have seen along the way. My hope is that I inspire others to follow their bliss and along the way people might connect with my artwork.
