I have been a full time instructor for several years. However, before I established my teaching company I was a mechanical engineer.

During this time I analyzed the golf swing form a mechanics and physics perspective just as I would any mechanical system. The results of that study totally reshaped my golf thinking and my teaching philosophy which I am eager to share with people.

Not only does my teaching tell you how to achieve optimum swing performance, it describes the science behind "why" my techniques produce superior distance and consistency levels they do.

I now live in California, but previously I spent a great deal of my life in Scotland - hence the tie to Highlander School of Golf.
