Hi! I have a great love of dogs that spans more than 55 years of multiple dog breed ownership, an array of dog health problems, some of the finest dog training and veterinarian friends, holistic dog health care investigation, and lots of belly and tail rubs. All dogs seem to know I'm a "softie" when they melt me with those big eyes - But I'm tough on doing things right and using only the very best dog food, best dog training, and best dog health care!

Regarding Recommendations and Links in my Squidoo lenses, you may assume that there is generally a material relationship which may (consciously or unconsciously) influence my statements and opinions. Even though I try to avoid bias in recommendations, I am human. In many or most instances, I have a personal relationship or I am a marketing affiliate who receives compensation from purchases made through links I provide. So govern your own interpretations accordingly.
I make recommendations in large part based on good faith that the information, products or services will help you, and/or I've tried it favorably or researched it, or it comes from a reputable source, or the selling company's affiliate program is through a well-known entity who is believed to have vetted it (such as networks like Linkshare or cj). I try to be reliable in the comments, recommendations or links I provide, but I can make no warranties or guarantees, nor representations (other than personal experience), and recommend that you do your own due diligence.
Some of my closest material connections in the "dog world?"
I am close personal friends with Dog Behaviorist, Rena Murray, help with some of her web work, and share in compensation from some affiliate products sold through our joint efforts, or we may share other expenses (hence, I may get indirect benefit from some of her earnings). But being close also means I speak with some of her clients, have them tell me directly what they experience, observe and believe, and I also watch Rena work many times - So I base my recommendations on much first-hand information, too.
I also base them on what I hear from other good dog behaviorists I have met. If I like them and believe in their work, I seek to become their affiliate, too, as much to help other people (like you) get to know about them, as to help them make more money because I believe they deserve it. While I might be their affiliate and receive compensation, I am or can be an affiliate of their competition, of the best known dog trainers and dog behaviorists, whose better-known reputations would sell their products quickly, and many of whose products would pay me more. However, I choose integrity, to market those in whom I have a personal belief based upon philosophy of what works or upon experience. If I market a dog behavior expert or dog trainer, I've either met them or at least read their material and evaluated their approach and information as truly valuable in my own belief, based upon my own years of experience with dogs and what I've learned from other dog behaviorists.
Dog Food? - I've tried many. My recommendations are only made on my real experiences with that dog food, and I may incorporate on my pages information from other users and the dog food company itself. I seek only all-natural dog food - wellness dog food - without harmful additives and prepared in a way to preserve nutrition. Once I'm happy, I seek to become an affiliate marketer of that dog food company - So you can assume my links are affiliate links, meaning I would be compensated if you bought.
Dog Health Care? - I read a lot on this issue and try to get information out there that I believe is needed. I love dogs, and I want them healthy! I also hate to see dog owners lose their beloved pets prematurely, or painfully watch them suffer. It was in this endeavor that I met Dr. Andrew Jones telephonically shortly before his brother, Michael, helped him develop a web presence. I totally believe in Andrew's holistic, integrative approach to veterinary care, so I obtained his Veterinary Secrets Revealed home study course when it first came out. Our dog also takes his proprietary-blend supplements. I believe everything I say about Dr. Andrew Jones and his products. So Rena and I jointly promote Andrew's information products and dog nutritional supplements as a marketing affiliate.
Other questions about relationships? You can contact me through Squidoo, and I'll discuss them candidly with you. I am a woman of honor and integrity, with a heart to help people and dogs, so I welcome your comments, input, and questions.
