Thank you for your interest in Hole e Stars Handcrafted Furniture. My name is Rich and I started out building furniture and cabinetry over 20 years ago for my first home. I found that constructing my own furniture and cabinetry not only saved me money but the quality and construction was so much better than anything I could buy. I found a great sense of accomplishment knowing I could customize and create each piece to fit perfectly in my home, plus have the satisfaction of creating a one of a kind fabulous piece that no one else had. Recently I lost my job because of the economy and decided to turn my hobby of woodworking into a handcrafted furniture business, so on August 19th 2009 Hole e Stars Handcrafted Furniture was born. My workshop is located in the quiet corner of Moosup,Ct. This is where I custom build both unfinished and finished pine furniture. My greatest pleasure comes from custom creating one of a kind unique pieces that will stand out in a crowd, such as placing my company logo on some of my pieces to give it an awesome country look. My furniture is constructed of premium hand selected pine, and each primitive piece is constructed of rough sawn pine planed only on one side. Because I really care about the environment I try to stay as green as possible using only latex paint and water based varnishes and stains with little or no vocs. I 'm always in the process of finding earth friendly finishes. You may ask why Hole e Stars Handcrafted Unfinished Furniture? 1- It allows you to have the pleasure of finishing the piece yourself to create your own masterpiece. 2-You can see what you are buying,no inferior wood or surprises hiding under the paint or stain. 3-My finishing colors may not match your style or décor. 4-You don't have to put your furniture together, each piece is custom built especially for you. 5-Each custom piece is proudly made in the U.S.A. with American pride. 6-Handcrafted furniture can be passed on for generations and be tommorrows antiques.
