Who's behind Hometown Expert.ORG?

My name is Tanya Clapshaw, and I've been buying and selling houses for over 20 years, sometimes as a realtor, sometimes as a for-sale by owner, and sometimes as a client. I started out as an agent in my early 20s in Oregon, before I was even a homeowner. My clients taught me as much as I taught them, and some of those early clients are still good friends of mine! I went on to other things, worked for a large company for years, then took some time off when my husband passed away. Later, I remarried and went from being single to suddenly having a new hubby, two small stepchildren, and a baby on the way! We moved to a neighboring state and we've enjoyed buying and selling houses, including flipping real estate, and helping others buy and sell their own homes. We moved three times in five years--that's four different addresses!

Now that the kids are a little bit older, I'm excited to be back working as a Realtor ® with Keller Williams Premier Partners in Vancouver, Washington. I love their philosophy - God First, Family Second, Business Third!  Their dedication to education, ethics, and a family culture really suits me, and I feel so fortunate to be part of the KW team.
