I am a totally blind bagpiper, bugler, percussionist, and vocalist. I am the North Dakota state director of Bugles Across America. I love bugle corps. People sometimes ask me why I serve. I want to serve my country any way I can as a blind person. It's the closest I can get to serving in the military, and I wouldn't trade anything for it in the world. Thanks to all those soldiers who are currently serving, and our veterans who served before them. As my corps motto says, "Duty, honor, country!"
I have been playing bagpipes for four months. I like to have fun, practice bagpipes for hours, learn new tunes, go to summer camp when I have time, and just hang out.
