I've been designing custom cross stitch patterns for over a decade, many based on original art that was later sold at auction.

Drawing and designing is a way I cope with the Pain of Rheumatoid Arthritis. The more cool colors (blues, greens, purples) you see in my designs are an indicator of how bad the pain was when the design was created.

 I also designs many images to benefit of the Angel Quilt Project, an international charity that provides handmade quilts for premature babies in the Pediatric ICUs.of hospitals, as well as small children with life threatening illnesses.

Chronic Pain and How to Really LIVE with It

The pain first started in my early childhood. My ankles and my wrists were so weak, they would collapse. In kindergarten, it was a common thing to have two older kids carry me into my class and tell the teacher "Jaenne fell again." I think...
