I was introduced to the concept of Network Marketing in 1989 almost 20 years ago.
Like many people in this business and industry I've had my share of struggles.
In my 1st few years in the industry I did everything my upline told me to do.
I shared the business with friends and family.
I went to networking events.
I tried to seek out likeminded people at self development seminars.
I prospected people there.
I tried home meetings, hotel meetings.
I drove many, many, miles "showing the plan".
I attended a variety of events and gave out countless numbers of business cards.
Family gatherings, weddings, business conferences, community events and so forth.
I handed out and mailed out countless Opportunity cassette tapes and CD's.
I mailed out thousands of post cards and letters.
I purchased telephone lists for telemarketing purposes.
I purchased address lists for direct mail marketing.
I advertised in business opportunity magazines.
I was on the phone everyday making calls to get people to join my business.
I did 3-way calls to help my downline and spent many more hours coaching my enrollees.
I had limited success with these methods.
The checks where small and team attrition was high.
It was very frustrating.
Years later I took my business online and had to overcome a whole new set of problems.
I sent out countless emails and directed people to the company's website.
I Investigated and tried many ways to direct traffic to my site with little to show in the form of signups.
It took me many years to build and manage a downline of over 4000 thousand people using traditional methods.
If you know anything about what I'm talking about and you've been in the trenches as a distributor trying to build a business then you know how extremely frustrating it is. Then I began to learn how to harness the power of the internet to attract and endless supply of leads and customers to my business. From my experiences I believe I've earned a virtual PHD degree in the Network Marketing Industry.
