Retired in the best sense of the word, and fortunate to be able to travel one end of route 1 to the other ~ Maine to Key West, FL. About ten years ago I started to migrate to the furthest tip of Florida every winter. I landed in Key West and camped for many years at Trumbo Point. Two years ago, sold the 5th wheel camper and 'took up' house/pet sitting. January and February are the months that I am in Key West. I slowly make my way back to Portland, Maine by the beginning of June. Like I said before - very fortunate and I am grateful.

Four years ago I started to take photos of the local haunts while in Key West. I rode my bike all of the island and became well acquainted with the back alleys and lanes. I have published Calendars and Photos. As a photographer I enjoy the opportunity to tell a story in photos, rather than words. Local Color Photography is all about 'the local color' I find when I roam.
