About Me

I grew up in the Northeast, lived for a long time in the Southwest and have settled now in California, but keeping pace with me has been the lifelong problem of major depression. A big part of my bio is told in the stories of fighting depression on this page and my blog, Storied Mind. Travel for my work has taken me to communities of many different cultures and spiritual traditions. What I've learned along the way is woven throughout these excerpts from personal journals of discovery.
