Hello, Kathryn!

Consider a graphic for that bio of yours; it's odd, but people actually respond better to pages when they can see what people look like. I guess it overcomes the anonymous nature of the web (not that you have to put your own photo; an expressive graphic works too).

Anyway, I feel a little guilty for link dropping, but I think I have a few tutorials on getting traffic that may be helpful to you.

I was going to send you to the tutorial I've given people for years, which has over 1200 likes (yay!) but I need to update it. (It's "How to Get Your Lens Found", aka squidtips.)

However, I've recently worked out a new technique that may be more useful to you. See

In particular, check out the "Related terms" approach, ie. the "noun" approach, which I list towards the end.
It's a way of making your lenses as attractive to search engines as possible without having to promote them off-site. Promotion is powerful too, but this is something you can do while writing or updating a lens so the content itself is a traffic magnet.

That's strange, I thought I already had uploaded a photo. I will do that now.
Thanks for your advice. I really do appreciate it. I wish I had more time to spend on Squidoo, since I could really spend all day here making lenses, but unfortunately I don't have so much free time so I want to make the most of it.
