LaRae Raine is a uniquely talented composer, pianist, singer, lyricist and musical arranger who combines poetic lyrics with a broad array of musical styles. Her artistry promotes compelling messages of truth and hope based on a biblical view point. She records and performs her original music.

Through her very personal style of piano expression LaRae also interprets existing arrangements with creative and fresh improvisations. Her repertoire includes tasteful standards from the 1930's to the present, depending on the type of engagement.

LaRae can also be commissioned to write original music for any personal or special occasion and theme. State-of-the-art CD mastered recordings can be provided for any application.

History & Current Projects

LaRae has been composing music, writing lyrics and poetry, and playing piano since 1980. Her first 3-song album was released in 1985 and received extensive college radio airplay, and her band during that time played at various clubs in NJ and NY. LaRae studied classical piano with Chiu Tze Lin, jazz piano with Laurie Altman and Dan Kleiman, and vocal instruction with Steven Schnurman. She attended the School of Music Ministry International at Lindale, Texas and attended three semesters at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. LaRae has played piano and led worship for churches and spiritual retreats.

She has independently released three full-length CD's: Justice, The Fear of The Lord and Byte. She has produced two videos: Who is this Man? and In The Aftermath. She is currently working on two more CD's soon to be released, and is completing the script for her full-length two-act musical The Highest Place.
