Hello World! Thanks for coming to check out my lens here at Squidoo! I'm an Artist born in NYC USA, but have moved too many times to count, including 13.5 years overseas, no big deal since I usually get a thrill travelling anyway. I teach several art classes and have art parties at my quaint studio in the DC area. In this lens I'll be giving updates as to how I am reorganizing the studio to work best for all of its uses. I enjoy all of the arts but have personally concentrated mainly in the visual arts, painting, drawing, printing, and making all kinds of things. I have some work hanging at the county commissioners gallery until the beginning of the new year, that would be quite soon. I am a fan of recycle art and just finished holding a contest at a small theater this past fall for the community, it was a blast seeing what people came up with! The winners got Target gift cards and the crowd's favorite was even pampered. There are so many cool recycle art sites I have found, this was one of my favorites:

One of my hidden passions has been writing, which has mostly found a voice in my journals and in e-mails to friends and family. I look forward to sharing that voice with a bigger audience. I have several childrens book ideas that I am working on and hope to see realized in the near future.
I am a born motivator, and love when I see people "getting it", this helps as I am also a mom who has extended my office to home educator.
