Hello, I am a legally blind artist. Yes, you read correctly I am legally blind. This has not stopped my love for arts and creating. I face many challenges as a legally blind artist. I think many of them are my own insecurities, but I also find that some people cannot understand my passion.
I draw/paint and work in digital media. I have been told throughout the years if you love art so much try clay or sculptures.
It is an attitude that I have found many people share, but I try to give people a view of from my imagination and from the real world.
I have participated in a yearly exhibit for blind and visually impaired artist through the lighthouse for the blind. I have also been fortunate to receive featured artist for the November 2007 online edition of La Times.
I really want people to know that the blind and visually impaired are also interested in the arts.
