Hello, I'm glad you stopped by! My name is Nickie Coby. I'm a young woman, studying at a women's college, majoring in social work and loving the chance to increase my knowledge.

I am an active blogger and have been for nearly six years. In my blog, I chronical my life, and focus on issues relevant to blindness, chronic pain, social work and Guide Dogs. Obviously, this means I'm blind, have a wonderful Guide Dog named Julio (he's a male yellow lab), am a huge fan of social work and have a chronic pain condition which affects the nerves. This condition is called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, or sometimes, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
