About Me

I'm an emerging artist, working primarily in oil and focusing on fantastical figurative paintings.

Creating artwork is my full-time profession. More than that it is my vocation.

My art speaks of wonderment and the fantastical. My work is an exploration of occult symbolism. It is meant to provoke spiritual questions about what are real encounters with the supernatural, and what is imagination. All the elements are woven together in a tapestry that reveals to us that if someone sees a scene in a composition of art that touches them psycho-spiritually and causes them to evolve, that it is as real as any mundane experience. And that gives the paintings life. So the viewer in turn becomes as much a creator as the artist.

Most of my artwork portrays the female as divine, powerful, and magical. Different Goddess archetypes, elements of witchcraft, occultism, spirituality, Santería, Catholic Saint iconography, and female power make an appearance. The intent is to show the aspects of the witch, the seeker, and the magical in every woman.
