I have always been hugely interested in health, fitness and diet related issues-particularly relating to women and I thoroughly enjoy researching alternative treatments and therapies and writing about them. An advocate of being in the best possible shape and health for your age, I have done a lot of research into the wide-ranging effects of the menopause, both physical and mental.

I am the author of a regular newsletter on the subject of the menopause in which I give tips for staying in shape and keeping sane!

There are two areas which sum up my approach to life. Firstly, I hate injustice in any way, shape or form and will stand up for the rights of the wronged-in either big or small issues!

Secondly, I have seen too many good people being cut down in their prime due to either illness or injury and because of this, I believe that you should live life to the full as you never know what's around the corner.
