About Me

WiltonElder is a professional saxophonist & private music educator. Active in concert and improvised musics, Elder has shared the stage with such artists as Marshall Tucker Band, Will Hoge, Linda Ronstadt, Derek Trucks Band, Col. Bruce Hampton, Soulive, Kevin Kinney of Drivin' N' Cryin' and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

Elder won First Prize in the 2003 MTNA National Chamber Music Competition in Salt Lake City as a member of the Rasa Saxophone Quartet and holds Saxophone Performance degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill and Michigan State University.
