During 2007 and the first half of 2008, my friends and I travelled the world and asked young people one simple question; "What can you tell us about the Millennium Development Goals?"
What we found is that the vast majority of today's youth have no awareness or understanding of the global importance of accomplishing the Millennium Development Goals.
This was the wake up call we needed, so without further delay, and with the guidance of some incredible people, we decided to stop playing 'off-peak' humanitarians and took the plunge.
With a shared passion for eliminating extreme poverty and educating the youth that would one day become world leaders, we established 'The zyOzy Foundation', a 501(c) (3) not for profit grant-giving organization.
Now, we seek ways to amplify the journeys of those who are actively establishing sustainable community based initiatives in alignment with the Millennium Development Goals.
