For over 20 years he was a Toronto broadcaster on classical music station CJRT-FM (JAZZ-FM). He has served as organist and choir director in a number of churches, and taught voice privately. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto where years studying political science and Chinese language failed to dampen his love for music.
