About Me

Having always wanted to teach, I obtained my BA and MA in elementary education at the University of Florida and sought my first job as a third grade teacher. While I loved teaching and was good at it, I disliked the bureaucracy of the public school system and the focus on standardized tests. When I became a mother, I found that the calling to be home with my own children was too strong to ignore. Therefore, I happily took a break from my classroom teaching job to raise my kids, and I'm finding that life as a homeschooling mom of two is extremely rewarding. I'm interested in natural living in general in addition to unschooling and attachment parenting. Visit my website for more info about me.
