My Bio
I was born and rised around the beautiful mountains of Thuringia near the castle Wartburg in Germany.
After the highschool I learned an electrican profession. Later I bounced around in different electrican jobs most of them in sales profession.
I´m married with Ilona and he have 3 children and one grandchild
...up to now.
From the year 1990 on I have an own business in the retail section.

I make in my spare time amateur-radio! My callsign is DL5AWI.
I´m member of the succesful german team DA0HQ. This team had won 9 times the IARU-Amateurradio-World-Championship.
I´m one of the founder from COTA-team-Germany. This group do coordinating the radio activity from castles.
I was member of some radio-expeditions around the globe and a member of the
German-DX-Foundation.
