I am fortunate to live in times that offer women greater career and business opportunities than ever before. However, in my career over the last 11 years I have faced several challenges in getting ahead, receiving recognition I deserve for major accomplishments and balancing my career, family and personal life.
My biggest challenges have been breaking the "glass ceiling" that blocked me from achieving my full potential by exercising my leadership, management and organizational skills, and finding a comfortable balance between my job, family and personal life.
After years of stress, anxiety and frustration, I finally accepted that there was little to no support in the organization, and that I was destined to advance "just that far, but no further". After months of depression, I realized that this was not conducive to my health, my family or my career and decide to put some altitude in my attitude, reinvent myself, and create a work environment for myself that was supportive of my personal dreams and aspirations.
This shift in attitude resulted in my being appointed as Quality Representative of the organization, finding proper balance between work and life, and more time to pursue my passion: serve and support everyone I meet seeking to enhance the quality of their personal, family and professional lives.
The most valuable lesson I have learned through this experience as a single parent and provider for a beautiful, healthy little girl, is to always take care of myself first when balancing work on life.
It is of the essence to take time to rest and rejuvenate our mind, body and spirit to successfully meet the challenges of balancing our professional, family and personal life.
I am driven by my life's purpose to serve and support everyone I meet seeking to enhance the quality of their personal, family and professional/business lives.
At every opportunity that arises in my personal and professional life, I consistently share with others the importance of scheduling time to get away from our busy lives and rejuvenate our mind, body and spirit. Rejuvenation of our mind body and spirit are absolutely essential if we are to be the best that we can be.

"My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny."
