My passion for photography started nine years ago in college when I bought my first SLR before traveling to Latin America on a semester solo adventure. During this trip, I realized I really enjoyed being behind the lens, capturing those special moments, people and places. I returned to Latin America four more times after this trip always with new gear and my camera in hand, feeling excited as to what I may be able to photograph next.

After college, I joined the US Peace Corps and was off to the Philippines. During my Peace Corps time my interest in photography shifted focus. One of my projects was to help start an environmental photography outreach program to educate high school students about conservation and their local environment. It was during this time that the digital photography revolution was beginning. After my Peace Corps service I worked for my father's company installing LED's on motorcycles. I also had the chance to work as a Fisheries Observer in Hawaii on long-line fishing vessels. After returning to the Philippines a year after leaving, I decided to once again focus more energy to my camera and slowly start my photography career.

I am currently living in Cebu City, Philippines working full time as a travel/stock photographer. I'm an active member of the only professional camera club here in Cebu and I spend most of my time traveling, photographing local weddings and events, and tending to my family. The photos I sell on this site were not made with the objective of making a sale, but to do something I enjoy and hopefully show a side of cultures and countries that many people don't get to see.
