I've experienced a very dramatic and vivid encounter with Papa God's answer to a prayer for inner healing. I had prayed that inner healing prayer for over 25 years every day. Agonized almost daily over the struggle. Then in October 2003 at Frontier Ranch, Buena Vista, CO at my first Wild at Heart boot camp with John Eldredge and the Ransomed Heart team, the Lord delivered me into a level of full redemption I've always dreamed of, specifically on the Friday session Oct. 24, 2003 by answering that prayer.

Since then I've walked in that heart expedition with my Father every day to date. I've been a part of other Advance Platoon Leaderhips camps with Ransomed Heart also. During this time God has taught me a great deal more about what this experience was about and why my Story has been written this way. It opened the door for me to be used by Papa God to rescue my wife's heart and my children. But this continues to be a journey still in process. I often ask myself "What sort of tale have we fallen into?"

It has also led me to move beyond 23 years of pastoral ministry in the Church matrix as I've always known and agonized over it to be. And in Jan '06 the Lord led me to see he had designed me to be a far different type of shepherd than I've been the past 23 years for the remainder of my journey now. And now I am living in the very last chapter of the WAH book. It's not the how question that is most important it is the what question.

Now my wife and I are in deep pursuit of that by following the Wild Goose into what Papa God is teaching us. In January 2006 I resigned my pastorate of six years and now I am living in some 'simple work' and developing the ministry my wife and I hold in our hearts and allowing God to lead us exactly into the path of life He has in mind. And to date it is absolutely mind boggling. Detoxing from ministry as we've known it and allowing the Lord to teach and develop this vision in his time and ways. And in the process, bringing some redemption to family generational lines that led to such a shattered life as I've known in my formative years.
