My name is Jerry W. Nunley. I am 48 years old, and married to a wonderful women named Addie. I have been in network marketing since 1999. With no success until I found, Mentoring for Free, that was a little over 3 years ago.
At that point I had so many e-books, and software programs, and had joined so many MLM programs, that I dismissed it. I was in a company, that I thought was going to make me rich, my mentor tried to warn me, but I did not listen, I bought leads, and spent a lot of money for nothing. When I finally realized it would not work, I quit.
But as always, six months latter I found another company. Again I got caught up in all the hype, I was going to be rich. But this time something told me to look more closely, before I jumped in with both feet, but I was so caught up in all of it, I stepped into it with one foot.
I spent 100 dollars, for the starter pack, and access to the company training website, and 20 dollars for my own personal website. Now I had to wait for my starter pack, so I went to the training website, but my access was limited, until I signed and returned the contract that would be in the starter pack. The website did however tell me that once i signed the contract, I would need to buy 1500 hundred Dollars worth of product for 800 dollars. That was minimum, if I really wanted to succeed, I would need to spend 4000 dollars.
Now at this point in my life, I was flat broke, I had quit my job, and the little money I got from my 401k, was gone. I was thinking about selling my car, for the money to join.
Now at this point Mentoring for Free reentered my life. My mentor called me out of the blue. She just called to see how I was doing. So I told her about the company, and what I was thinking about doing. She asked me to go back and reread the e-books, Success in 10 Steps, and The Five Pillars to Success and listen to some audios she would send me.
Now my gut reaction was, here we go again, but I read the books, and listened to the audios, and I realized I had been lied to by every company I had joined. I dropped the company, and started to study everything I could about Mentoring for Free. That is when my life changed.
