Hi, I'm Michele. I am a mom who also works outside of the home. I do not call myself a working mom because all moms work. I have a full time job as a technology coordinator at an elementary school. I started selling off my excess stuff on ebay. I needed to get out of debt and get rid of stuff, so I decided ebay was the way to go. I was pretty successful getting rid of things and it was easy because i was not too concerned about the final prices. I was just happy to get rid of the stuff.
So, how did I end up with a store? I found that I really
enjoyed selling on ebay, and I kept researching opening a store. I finally decided that I should open a store where I would like to shop. What would I like to buy? Unfortunately, the answer is children's clothes. I wish I wanted to buy  designer shoes, jewelry or pricey bags, but most of my money goes to kids clothes (and my girls are not even teenagers yet). As I looked at other stores that sell children's clothes, I still found that I did not want to shop in their stores. Why not? Shipping! I may be cheap, but I can't stand paying high shipping costs. When I shop for clothes, I consider the shipping when I consider if I am willing to pay the price listed. After not finding a store I wanted to "be like," an idea was born. Create the store you want to shop in!!! So, My Belles Boutique was born. I ordered my first shipment of merchandise, researched FAIR shipping costs and got to work.
