About Me

Welcome and thanks for visiting my lens. I am a computer and technology trainer and private tutor in San Diego, Californa for children and adults, including small businesses, and not-for-profits on how to increase their business on the web as well as on the ground marketing and public relations. I surf ( a little) and like to have fun with my family.

In order to be truly successful in business today, communication with prospects and customers is two-way, and web 2.0 reflects this fact.

In the classroom, I have my students focus on the technical skills of the programs they are using because there's no reason why they can't learn to run a business out of their dorm rooms when they graduate. For older students (upper elemenary and beyond), this includes all components of a website, including content, html/xhtml, css, hosting, selecting a domain name (or squidoo lens), search engine optimization, permission-based marketing, rss, and logo and banner design.

A great starting place for this next generation is the mobile internet, and I am passionate about .mobi as a TLD (top level domain).
