Tax Attorney David Jacquot, JD, LLM, P.A. understands tax law and knows how to fight for his clients. For the last nine years, our office has focused on representing clients in tax disputes with the IRS. We assist clients involved in IRS Audits, IRS Appeals, Collections Actions, Tax Litigation, Criminal Tax Matters, Non-filer Status, and any other tax dispute.

EXPERIENCE:

Military. David served over nine years as an active duty US Army Officer. An outstanding military career was tragically cut short due to injuries sustained during DESERT STORM and subsequent surgical complications. He was medically retired at the rank of Captain. While on active duty, David was consistently recognized for hard work, innovation, dedication, loyalty, integrity, candor, and ability to work under great stress. Additionally he received numerous awards, including a Bronze Star Medal, for his exceptional performance of duty during combat in Iraq. Some of his other awards include a Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, numerous service medals and medals from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Tax and Business Attorney. Upon his retirement from the Army, he began private practice in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. His practice focus is on representing individuals and businesses in disputes with the IRS, tax and estate planning, and business transactions. During his 14 year career he has provided services to individuals, nationwide corporations, insurance companies, investment firms and a myriad of other businesses.

Trial Attorney. David obtained extensive trial training in the prestigious Georgetown University Criminal Justice Clinic. He obtained additional trial experience as a military prosecutor, handling felony homicide, rape, kidnapping, child molestation, drug and assault cases. After his retirement from the Army, David has represented select clients in criminal proceedings and taxpayers in tax litigation.
