    Hi Tom, Thanks for taking the quiz on pronunciation of R. If R is nor pronounced in cart it doesn't mean that you get the word cat.
    cat sounds like hat and cart sounds like art, the pronunciation of the vowels is different. When studying pronunciation, you must forget the spelling and listen to the sounds
