Hello! I'm wayfarer lensmaster since: December, 2006
About Me
My name is Chris. I am a Minnesota artist, specializing in watercolor landscapes of the North Country. Weborg Lodge combines two of my passions - painting and the outdoors.
I live and work in the land of 10,000 lakes, which gives me all the inspiration I need both for painting and plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature.
My Lenses
- Weborg Lodge Studio--Original Watercolors
- The North Country is a northern pike, striking hard. It is the plaintive cry of the loon, bouncing off the water’s surface and wandering through the pines like a restless ghost. It is the swish-swish sound of skis cutting a path through newly f...
- Doing the Door--Door County, Wisconsin
- Where to begin? Door County is a unique vacation destination of the Midwest. Often referred to as the "Cape Cod of the Midwest", it is so many things. It is shopping. It is sightseeing. It is boating, sailing,...
- Writing My First Mystery
- I've learned a lot from the experience, not just about writing but about people. When one writes, one is creating another world. You populate it with personalities, give the town and people a history, and make it come to life. It's...
- Watercolors 101
- I've always been a creative person. I can remember getting a drawing kit for Christmas one year. I had tried to enter those drawing schools, you know the ones. They were the ones with ads in the back of magazines, inviting you to draw a figure and su...
- My Cat, Sophie
- You can call me Sophie. I am a Chartreux, at least mostly. I was a stray. Thankfully, I was given to a vet clinic to find a home. I didn't find one rightaway. Not sure why. I'm cute enough. Now that I do, I'm...
- How Not To Be a Starving Artist
- I knew early on that the creative life was for me. I dabbled in drawing and writing, before settling on both. I've been selling on eBay for five years. Those were the days: lots of views, several bids. The market has sin...
- Keeping It Green
- I've always been involved one way or another in conservation. It is my passion. I never cease to be amazed by the flight of a hawk overhead or the stomping of a deer that I've surprised. Through art, I am able to explore and capture...
- Fitness For Life
- Though she didn't know it, my niece was my inspiration to take charge of my life and health. She was married in October, 2005. Later, my uncle kindly sent all of us photographs he took at the wedding. Now I realized at the time that...
