As of March 3, 2012, I am officially a Giant Squid here on Squidoo! I have received my 25-Level Super Squid status and I have applied to be a SquidAngel...I can't wait to get my wings! Next Stop: 50-Level Giant Squid!

What an amazing weekend! The day after becoming a Giant Squid, I became a SquidAngel! All I kept thinking was: "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings..." !

I joined Squidoo in August of 2011. I got lucky because I came in right before Halloween and I decided to jump right in and create a costume lens for a Halloween SquidQuest. By luck, I stumbled across a costume that no one else had done yet and I was able to make a few sales off of it and a second costume lens I did.

My first 3 months of payouts on Squidoo reflect these sales and the payments from my few second tier lenses.

My mistake was that I took a break from Squidoo during a move to another state and I stayed away until I saw those payments come through and it reminded me that I should probably go back and at least maintain my current lenses! There is a delay in payments, so I didn't get my September earnings until November. My October earnings were my highest to date and I received those in December.

To avoid getting too wordy, I eventually decided I needed to reconnect with Squidoo. I returned in January 2012 and I haven't looked back! I've created about 20 new lenses since I returned 2 months ago. I wish I had never left!

The following will be a monthly record of my Squidoo earnings, starting with the September 2011 payout. February 2012 reflects my leave of absence and March will continue to show what happens when you neglect your lenses, but I'm looking forward to making strides upward from April 2012 and beyond!
