A Home From Home For My Lenses
I'm going to have to face it I am becoming addicted to Squidoo!! When I first discovered Squidoo I just thought I would do one lens on Back Pain and sciatica to support my blog. I had NO IDEA how addictive (in a good way) it could be!
I still don't have the amazing number of lenses some do as I am quite short of time and I do take a lot of time over each lens. In fact each of my lenses has been thoroughly mulled over well before they ever get to be typed, on the bus going to work, at work(oops!), while cooking dinner, in the bath....you get the idea.
I love being a Lensmaster. As time has gone on I have produced a few more lenses that are related to back issues and then some about my other interests, experiences and passions. I hope to keep building more. I just need two of me!!
A wonderful thing about Squidoo is that you get to share any money you make with charity. Every lens I make contributes to the Squidoo Charity Fund and I also share some money to Dogs Trust UK and a Local Hospice for People with Terminal Cancer.
I sincerley hope that you find my lenses useful and that they help you in some way. That alone would make me very happy :)
A Little Bit About Me
I love dogs, and all animals, back pain interests, and self development.
Ilove all animals and have an especially soft spot for dogs and horses, chickens and manatee. I also love elephants and find Lizards and sloths fascinating and ...oh I could go on. I cannot bear cruelty to animals.I love the countryside and the beach when I can get near one! I love being in nature and the outdoors whenever I can.
My work is with children with special needs which is challenging and rewarding all at the same time. I have found they have taught me such a lot.
My other main interests are around healing healthcare. I love to "give back" by helping others with information or experiences I have had with overcoming any health issues such as my back pain and sciatica.
I am training to be Reiki practitioner and am learning massage therapy as well.
I have long been fascinated by how the mind works and self help type books and training. I have read a lot and done a lot of research in this area and I have my fav authors in Wayne Dyer, Jorj Elprehzleinn, Dick Supthen and Robin Sharma.
Since my time at Squidoo I have seen many great lenses and met many lovely people. I have found this community to be very helpful and friendly and I am very glad I found it :)

My "Chicken" lens came about as a woman at work who was retiring told me she was going to buy some rescue chickens to look after. I started asking around and still surprised that people did not always understand about the battery farming system and the conditions many chickens live in.
