Add It to Your Lensroll

Another way to highlight the best and brightest lenses is to feature them -- and link to them -- in your own lenses. Particularly if you stumble across lenses that cover topics similar to the subjects of your lenses, consider adding them to the lensroll of a specific lens. And when you do, contact the lensmaster to let them know you've done so -- perhaps they'll add your lens to their lensroll!

It is a way to list and link to Lens that you visit and enjoy.

Let's say you go to another lens that is similar to your topic. You like their Lens. If you just click on the link at the top of their page that says "Add to my Lensroll" when you return to your own Lens, you will see a section just under your profile, in the right sidebar, that contains the Lens you added.

If you wish, you can also add the Lens you are visiting, to your "Favorites" list, and when you sign into your Squidoo account (at the top of the page your lens is on, by the link to "My Lenses") you will see the list you have added as favorites.

If you don't add (preferably appropriate, on-topic) lenses to your lensroll you will be leaving it up to the system to fill in the new "More great lenses" in the Maxed Lens layout.

As a default four lenses with similar content populates the space under "More great lenses". Those four lenses are more than likely not yours.

While sharing is a part of the community spirit at Squidoo it's to your own advantage that you plug any traffic leaks.

Even as a visitor I'd trust personal recommendation over an algorithm.
