Lenten Arts and Crafts

Art and Craft Projects for the Lenten Season

I've always found it difficult to find art and craft projects suitable for the Lenten season. Over the past couple of years I've developed some Lenten projects for my elementary art classes and I will share those with you in this article. I also am including projects from other sites that have directions included, with Lenten projects that they are offering.
If you are aware of sites that feature Lenten arts or crafts, and that have directions on how to make them, please let me know and I will include them in this article.
I'm sure there are many school teachers and home school teachers that would appreciate more choices for arts and crafts for the Lenten season.
For the instructions for the Lenten Crosses project shown above, go to Kids & Glitter.

Remember

This is a very appropriate project to be doing at this time. The author of this project chose the word "remember" because it reminds us that Peter recalled, or remembered, the words of Jesus when he heard the rooster crow for the third time. You'll find this project at Impress Your Kids.
