Sapphic Greek and Roman Goddesses
The poet Sappho of Lesbos is the most famous historical lesbian, and she wrote poetry invoking Aphrodite, the goddess of love (known as Venus to the Romans). Choose the goddess who most resonates with you for this theme.Or simply choose the costume you like the best and make up your own Greek or Roman name: take your own name and add "dite"or "ephone" for a Greek goddess or "a", "ena" or "us" for a Roman goddess.

Tough as nails Admiral Helena Cain (Michelle Forbes) fell for the even tougher cylon spy Number Six, known on board Battlestar Pegasus as Gina Inviere (Tricia Helfer).
At left is the Starbuck Battlestar Galactica casual attire that can be used for Gina's costume. For Helena Cain, stencil a Pegasus badge on the arm of a jacket like the one pictured below right. 
To create a stencil of the Pegasus badge (click for larger image), print out the badge and cut out the lettering and logo. Paint over the stencil onto the arm of your jacket using fabric paint (permanent) or watercolour paint (temporary, but do a test patch first). Wear the jacket/blazer lapels turned up and pinned for a more austere uniform.
