My Favourite Little Known Lesbian Movie Scenes
There have been more and more lesbian kissing scenes in mainstream movies and TV shows over recent years. These include critically acclaimed movies and of course some trashy ones that border on soft porn.
But there are no lack of steamy lesbian kisses today and here is a list of my personal top 10 favourite lesbian movie scenes in no particular order because it's really hard to rank them.
The list might change order or even change altogether next week for all I know.
Coming up with a top 10 list is tough for this genre as there are just too many great scenes and ultimately, choosing one's favourite is largely subjective.

10. Femme Fatale
Rebecca Romijn and Rie Rasmussen
A Brian de Palma classic from 2002, Femme Fatale suffers from an implausible plot even as many lauded it on its ambitious effort to tell movie goers that knowledge is not the same as information.Starring a stunning Rebecca Romijn and Antonio Banderas, Femme Fatale is better known for its opening sequence where the heist takes place in a ladies' bathroom where Rebecca Romijn and Rie Rasmussen share some steamy lesbian kisses.
9. Eulogy
Famke Janssen and Kelly Preston
Eulogy is a comedy despite its foreboding title. The 2004 movie has several lesbian characters in it played by Debra Winger, Famke Jansen And Kelly Preston. Three generations of a dysfunctional family come together to bury the family patriarch.Although there are some nice unexpected scenes with Debra Winger and Glenne Headly, it's the chemistry between Kelly Preston and Famke Janssen that makes for some sizzling lesbian kissing scenes.
8. A Girl Thing
Elle Macpherson and Kate Capshaw
A Girl Thing is a mini TV series that is made up of 4 episodes each telling the relationships between different couples. One of the episodes explore the lesbian relationship between a straight woman and a lesbian, played by Elle Macpherson and Kate Capshaw.Their kissing scenes are nothing less than convincing and very hot.
7. Gia
Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Mitchell
Gia is one of the top supermodels in the 80s and one of the first women to have died from aids, then an unknown disease. Angelina Jolie plays Gia in this TV movie with an intensity that is compelling and at times, you feel that Jolie could be in fact playing herself.Her lesbian scenes with Elizabeth Mitchell are daring and provocative without being over the top.
6. Gray Matters
Heather Graham and Bridget Moynahan
A so-so romantic comedy, Gray Matters does not have a great script or premise either but the two leading ladies are so good looking, all is forgiven. Their lesbian kissing scene is cute and gets to be seriously hot.You wish it could have gone on a little longer.
5. Imagine Me And You
Lena Heady and Piper Perabo
Good friends in real life, Lena Heady and Piper Perabo make a convincing lesbian couple in this romantic comedy. The two ladies are so good looking but the kissing scenes could've been much better, such has having more close ups. But still, overall, pretty nice kissing between the two. 4. Fastlane
Tiffany-Amber Thiessen and Jaime Pressly
A short-lived TV series, Fastlane stars Tiffany-Amber Thiessen as an LA undercover cop. Jaime Pressly guests in an episode and the two share a hot tub moment with some excellent lesbian kissing. 3. The Gymnast
Dreya Weber and Addie Yungmee
The Gymnast is a small budget film that boasts a great script and it's a real pity it didn't get more exposure. Dreya Weber stars as a former gymnastics champion who failed badly and Addie Yungmee hooks up with her through their common interest in aerial performance.The kissing scene is brief but the buildup to it is great.
2. Tipping The Velvet
Rachael Stirling and Keeley Hawes
A BBC production of Sarah Waters' lesbian novel, Tipping The Velvet has all the makings of a terrific lesbian TV series - great story, script, production and very hot lesbian love scenes.It doesn't hurt that the two leading ladies Rachael Stirling and Keeley Hawes make a very nice lesbian couple.
1. Powder Park
Unknowns
Powder Park or its original German title "Plotzlich Erwachsen" is a 2001-2005 TV series. The lesbian kissing scene is from one of the episodes that is a very brief one between the two gorgeous ladies but again it's the buildup to the scene that makes it totally hot.And yes, I wish the scene could have gone on a whole lot longer.
