This is a brief review of the Gibson Les Paul Standard 1960 version.
Review:
While I personally do not own the Gibson Les Paul Standard, my father does and has been playing it all his life. I've grown to recognize the original sound of the Les Paul. This guitar produces a very smooth, recognizable sound.

Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Neck Electric Guitar Ebony Nickel Hardware
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Neck is an electric guitar that is famous for its sustain. The feel and sound of the original '60s Les Paul comes from a slim '60s neck design with a smaller peghead, push-in-bushing green tuning keys, and nickel hardware. BurstBucker Pro pickups feature Alnico V magnets like those used in the P-90s from the '50s. One coil has more wraps than the other, as did most '50s and early '60s "Patent Applied For"s. These waxed, double-potted pickups deliver a tighter, balanced, biting tone with more midrange. Mahogany body and neck with maple top and rosewood fretboard. Includes Gibson hardshell case.
