Who is Lester Levenson

I was searching for my own spiritual freedom and enlightenment and I came across Lester Levenson's story. In 1952 Lester Levenson was 43 years old and was told by his doctors that he could drop dead any minute. The doctors send Lester home to die; they only gave him days to live and told him not to go up any stairs unless he absolutely had to.

Lester started talking to himself, asking himself, being the smart educated man that he was; how he got to where he was. He also started asking himself when he was most happy and started finding his own answers. Through his self questioning, Lester found that he was most happy when he was being loving towards another. He worked on himself to change his feelings to being more loving. With his higher consciousness, Lester also decided not to eat meat anymore. Within months, Lester's ailments cleared up, he became much happier, and he lived for another forty-two years.

I selected this image to the right because it reminds me that Love is for everybody, and that is what Lester found out.
