Why would beginner internet marketers love affiliate marketing? In A Word - MONEY - Love Means Never Having To Say You're Sorry You're Broke! You Can Make Money Before You Even Know What You're Doing! How Cool Is That!

You may have heard this by now or you may not have, but in marketing, true marketing, there is an age-old saying...

"The Money's In The List!"

I didn't understand that. The only "list" I had in network marketing was the one I made of family and friends that my upline told me to make. Of course, network "marketing" isn't true marketing. Most of us in multi-level "marketing" (MLM) haven't ever studied marketing.

So, the only "list" I had was 57 names of people who were not the least bit interested in MLM. But I called all of them more than once. I look back now and can't believe I did that. I didn't mean to harrass all my friends. But i did and it actually worked at first.

I recruited several people that way. So, even with my friends and family "list," I made MONEY and so did my downline. They harassed their friends and family too and so it goes in old-school MLM.

But then the typical thing in network marketing began to happen. If you've been in that business any time at all, and you have practiced what you probably also preached, before long, you and your downline experienced the same "thing," the typical "thing" which is no-thing. NOTHING!

That's how "old school" MLM works for 97% of us and so the dream, having our own business, the business we love, starts to fail.

Thank goodness mine almost did. I eventually felt too strange to keep doing those really quite ridiculous and unprofessional behaviors. I thought in my heart of hearts, "this just can't be right, chasing after people like this." So I quit doing it. I still loved my business but I hated sales and hated recruiting, or at least I thought i did. But then I found it. I was online searching for a solution and found it!

I found several affiliate programs, although I didn't know that was what they were. So what do they do? Well, for one thing, they build your "list," your prospect list. And what's in the "list?" MONEY!

It's Called "Attraction Marketing."

Attraction marketing is true marketing. Think of it as a great TV commercial, one that makes you want to go out and buy immediately. No one twisting your arm, no one seemly desperate for you to listen to their pitch, just great promotion of something that is attractive to you.

When we want to buy, we search for what we want and when we find it, we buy it. It's our idea. And even when we are not searching, we can be just walking around in the mall and see a great tie or cute shoes and like a magnet, we're drawn closer to whatever it is so we can check it out.

When something or someone is attractive, we notice.

Affiliate programs do exactly that for not just the beginner in online marketing but for anyone. Why? Because marketing is their business. They've studied marketing, they've tested ads, they know what works.

Google Will Also Find You!

Speaking of ads, one of my favorite affiliates is an advertising website. What is very surprising is that not only do people find me there, so does Google!

I began advertising my businesses at several places but didn't become an affiliate for any of them except one. I place an unlimited number of premium classified ads at US "Free" Ads for $10/month, not only because it is the best place to post ads but also because within hours, my ad is on page 2 and sometimes page one of Google!

Internet network marketing is MLM at home, or at the beach under a palm tree, or in the coffee house because all you need is the Internet and a cell phone. I get leads from affiliate marketing, cash-flow from sales, and get to talk to people who found me online - like-minded people who love the idea of MLM like I do.

What other business model out there gives us a chance to help others succeed while we do! The more we give, the more blessed we are. But we have to find people like us.
