How I got started
I started playing golf 1 year ago, talk about trial by error. I started with lessons for about 2 months then moved on to self instruction via either e-book or dvd. I bought the latest and greatest equipment and set out to play. I had a wicked slice and upset the daily lives of many small woodland creatures along with a couple of homeowners and a few players in the opposite fairway. I can attest to the fact that golf balls do not float. I desperately needed a golf slice fix, and a way to add distance and save strokes.
My game seems to be improving week by week. I hope that you find some some of this useful. If I find anything else that improves my game, I will share it here. Thanks for reading this.

Finally an easy answer....
As for self improvement, I stumbled across the Symple Swing Method. With Symple Swing, I found my golf slice cure, add distance off the tee and hit more fairways. I am absolutely amazed at how many strokes I have shaved off my game in 1 month. All this for less than the cost of one lesson!

Save yourself some money
I have learned that just because a club cost more, it probably will not improve your game. I have gone through 1 set of irons, 2 wedges, 4 putters, 3 drivers and an untold number of balls in my quest to hit it longer and straighter. My adventure with a draw driver turned to failure. Once I corrected my slice, I had to switch to a neutral driver to avoid hooking the ball. This leads me into the clone club market. After several internet searches, I found GigaGolf. Their clubs are reasonably priced, perform great and the custom fit them to you. I am a fan for life.
