A Letter and Call From Santa Clause Himself
You've all probably seen those programs where you can sign your child up to recieve a letter from Santa or maybe you've just written one to them yourself. Well, I was browsing around doing some early Christmas Shopping and came across a program called A Letter / A Call From Santa. I had never heard of getting a phone call from Santa so I thought it was pretty neat and decided to try to spread the word of a great way to bring your children more Christmas joy and maybe even start a new tradition.
Letter From Santa
- The basic $10 package includes a personalized letter in which Santa can make up to twelve personal refrences that you provide about pets, hobbies, and friends. The letter looks handwritten and comes on a Christmas themed paper. It also includes a Christmas Eve Door Hanger and access to "Santa's Secret Website". The mailing date is flexible, there are different letter styles so siblings don't get the same letter, and if they got a letter last year Santa will even reference that!
- The $45 package includes everything from the $10 package and much more. It includes a plush Christmas Teddy Bear carrying a basket of chocalates, a "I Believe in Santa" sticker, and "Santa's Magic Snow." "Santa's Magic Snow" is a souvenir tin and playset containing a sachet of Santa's Magic Snow Powder. Using top secret techniques and magic formulas, the snow that actually fell from Santa's roof just last week (apparently) is magically converted to a fine powder that just needs water adding to transform it back into white fluffy snow - and as if by magic the snow grows before your very eyes up to an amazing 40 times its original size!
- There are other options in between the two to choose from.
A Call From Santa
- The regular phone call is about $7. The call will be gender and age specific and is also very interactive. Santa will call to the minute on the day you choose. The operator will ask for the child by name and on pressing 1 - Santa will begin his cleverly scripted call.
- The live phone call cost about $15. Your child will recieve a live call from Santa in which he will reference information provided by you to make the call personal.
Christmas Shopping
The site also offers an online Christmas Shopping mall area where you can get stuff ornaments, stockings, Christmas cards and music, even Christmas trees and lights. It a one stop shop for all your Christmas needs, and they seem to have pretty good prices. Links

Love this idea! Especially great for kids at 'that age' when they start to hear Santa might not be real - horrors! Posted June 30, 2008 |

This lens was so incredibly neat. My daughter sent Santa a Thank You letter and waited and waited for a response. I did not know how to send one myself playing Santa due to shipping marks. She and my boy send Santa a list every year. I am going to have to use these resources. Thanks a bunch. Posted May 31, 2008 |
