Another tour de force is the Lexmark S 1620. Lexmark is a company that has a good history of manufacturing printers of a very high standard. The printer has originally been manufactured for additional durability and further expandability, with the compatible Lexmark S 1620 toner adding crisp printing quality.
The Lexmark S 1620 Printer Is Luxuriously Economical
This printer was manufactured for durability and ease of use. It is geared towards the office market. Usually those offices that have lots of printer intensive tasks that this printer can handle with ease.
The Lexmark S 1620 is a much cheaper printer than the others in its category. The features, along with the printer's capabilities, are far better than other printers within its price range. However we always advise that you look more at a printer's print quality than stuff like its features.
Lexmark has a reputation of churning out printers that print both excellent quality prints, as well as incorporating the latest and most cutting edge features available.
This particular printer, however, does not really incorporate any cutting edge features. If I had to guess, it would be because it's not very expensive. That doesn't change the fact that it does the job of producing excellent prints. I went ahead and tested the printer on a number of documents to see how it performed.
We started testing the printer with a few test pages. The text tests were positive and very impressive, however text is something that Lexmark has always excelled at. The mixed prints were a different story because what we got was mixed results. Some things printed out fine while others weren't so good. However the text at low resolutions and high resolutions were both excellent. Clip art and illustrations also looked like it would pop out of the page but pictures didn't look as good.
We also went ahead and tested the printer at high resolutions. The printer took a bit longer to warm up but once it did we were impressed with the print quality and the capability it had of printing high resolution text and graphics. The only difference was only the few extra seconds it took for the printer to warm up.
The Lexmark S 1620 cartridge seems to have a very generous capacity of 1200 pages when it comes to print at high resolution. Normally we estimate that in a conventional office environment the cartridge should last fifteen days in smaller or home offices it should be thirty days. It also depends upon what print quality you put the printer at. Lexmark has always manufactured spacious toner and this one is no different.
