Liam O'Flynn

Possibly the greatest of all the Liams, master uilleann piper Liam O'Flynn was a pupil and friend of the great Seamus Ennis. In O'Flynn's native Kildare he formed the influential Planxty before a solo career that has seen collaborations with The Everly Brothers, Seamus Heaney, Kate Bush, Van Morrison and John Cage.
