The Lichfield camping brand is a British tent company that has been in existence since 1860.

Lichfield tents are aimed at the UK camping market and tend to be practical rather than luxurious. The company specialises in designing tents for first time camping families and they have revolutionised this market by using and patenting an innovative, user friendly tent pole configuration.

Also, some Lichfield tents feature an innovative pop-up design. Tents with this feature spring up in a couple of seconds, and you just need to peg down the corners and the guy-ropes. One of the more popular Lichfield Tents design with this feature is the Yana.

The Yana is a 3 person design although, like most tents, it is really more suited to sleep fewer occupants than that. You can comfortably fit 2 people in the bedroom, and if you wish, 3-4 in the living area. However it is not tall enough to get stand up in. The bedroom has its own inner lining so provides relief from condensation and there is a small fly sheet over the vents in the ceiling. There are two loops to hook lamps to the ceiling, one in the bedroom, one in the living area. Like most pop-up tents however, folding it up after use can be a challenge.
