Where is Dubai?
Good question!
However, I am sure that Dubai is now a well known city in the world. When people like Brad Pitt and David Bekham and so many other celebrities has bought their villas in Dubai, then, it should be a famouse city!
By the way, Dubai is located in Middle East, the south border of the Persian Gulf.
Dubai is one of the 7 emirates (states) in United Arab Emirates. It is an Arab country and one of the biggest oil exporters.
There are about 1.5 million people living in Dubai, more than 90% of them expatriates coming from Philipines, India, Iraq, Iran, UK, Srilanka, Africa to live and work.
Total population of the whole UAE is about 5 million.

The enegry comes from the business atmosphere of Dubai. Actually, most of the people in Dubai are here to do business.
Of course we know that the tourism is the biggest industry in UAE and Dubai which means that there are lots of tourists in this city but, based on some statistical data, in 2007, 33 people have entered Dubai in each day!, none of them among the tourists.
So, it is correct if we say that most of the Dubai people are here to do business.
